Projektbeschreibung

The overall objective of the XtreemOS project is the design, implementation, evaluation, and distribution of a grid operating system (called XtreemOS) with native support for virtual organizations (VO). XtreemOS is capable of running on a wide range of underlying platforms, from clusters to mobiles. It is based on Mandriva Linux, with support to come for other distributions later.

Fixes wurden für die Installation ISO gemacht. Kleinere Korrekturen wurden nach Hause Volumen Montage gemacht. Neue 64-Bit virtuellen Maschinen zur Verfügung stehen. Das Handbuch wurde aktualisiert.

Der Installer wurde mit einem neuen xosautoconfig Werkzeug, um sehr einfach und automatisiert die Installation von XtreemOS Fällen verbessert werden. XtreemFS ist in der Version 1.2, die eine Reihe von neuen Funktionen hat, zusammen mit einer verbesserten Leistung und Stabilität. XtreemOS MD (Mobile Device) ist eine neue Version integriert XtreemOS im Internet Tablets. Virtual Knoten ist ein Rahmen, um die Fehlertoleranz für Grid-Anwendungen bieten. XOSSAGA erlaubt die Ausführung von SAGA-konforme Anwendungen auf unveränderter XtreemOS.
