xscanner is an easy-to-use X (Xforms-based) scanner program which includes a previewer. It relies on a commandline-oriented scanprogram, either hpscanpbm for HP SCSI scanners or the SANE scanimage frontend. It also needs the pbmplus or netpbm tools and optionally Xforms to be installed.

Umfassende Unterstützung für Neukonfiguration aller Backend-Befehle in der Anwendung selbst wurde hinzugefügt. Alle Einstellungen sind nun in der Ressource-Datei gespeichert. Xscanrc. Die Vorschau-Bereich wurde komplett überarbeitet, verwendet pixmaps anstelle von Bitmaps und unterstützt Fadenkreuz und Kontrollen für die Vorschau.
Extensive support for reconfiguring all backend commands from within the application itself has been added. All settings are now kept in the resource file .xscanrc. The preview area has been completely overhauled, uses pixmaps instead of bitmaps, and supports crosshair and controls for previews.
