xP provides an intuitive, high quality, graphical (X11) user interface to the University of Washington's PINE Messaging System. xP aims to provide an interface that is welcoming and easy to use for the new user, while still retaining the look, feel and key commands of PINE for the experienced user.

Diese Version verwendet die aktuelle Pine 4,33 und XClass95 0.5.3. Alle Befehle werden über Pine Pine weitergeleitet: XP interpretiert Mitteilungs-Editor-Befehle. Eine anklickbare keymenu war zu jedem Bildschirm hinzugefügt. Ein Fortschrittsbalken wurde der Status-Zeile hinzugefügt. Die E-Mail / Newsgroup-Ordner und die Mitteilung jetzt funktionieren. Die E-Mail / Newsgroup-Nachricht verfassen / Suspend / stornieren Funktionen nun arbeiten. Alle Icons befinden sich in der binären enthalten. Der Window-Manager Titelleiste zeigt nun Pine-Status.

This version uses the current Pine 4.33 and XClass95 0.5.3. All Pine commands
are routed through Pine: xP only interprets message editor commands. A
clickable keymenu was added to every screen. A progress bar was added to the
status line. The email/newsgroup folder and the message view now work. The
email/newsgroup message compose/suspend/cancel functions now work. All icons
are now included in the binary. The window manager titlebar now displays Pine
status.
