Projektbeschreibung

SCMxx is a console program that allows you to
exchange certain types of data with mobile phones
made by Siemens. Some of the data types that can
be exchanged are logos, ring tones, vCalendars,
vCards, phonebook entries, and SMS messages. It
works with the following phones: S25, C35i, M35i,
S35i, ME45, S45, SL45, M50, and probably some
others, too. It basically uses the AT command set
published by Siemens (with some other additional
resources).

The SMS code now supports multipart message encoding on sending, and Docbook XML is used for man pages (with HTML output). pin file (~/.scmxx/pin) support was added. A few new options were added and support for options deprecated in earlier versions was removed. This version now supports file uploads for S55 (not obex).

This release fixes the broken transparent pin processing and the broken direct SMS receive mode. It is now possible to let scmxx find an empty phonebook slot for easier entry adding. This version also adds support for OS/2, a new option --system-charset, and features a new special string "last" for phonebooks. Direct receiving of short message status reports is now enabled. There is now an Italian translation included.
