rpm livelinuxcd is a set of ISO images and a
toolkit. The first CD image is a basic live CD
with X/KDE, GNOME, twm, VPN/DSL, kickstart, and
other tools based on RPM packages. The second CD
image includes a server with ssh, Apache, PHP,
MySQL, Samba, Squid, and more, but without X11.
The toolkit consists of shell scripts to create
new CDs from RPM package lists or comps files.

Startup-Zeit hat sich verbessert, es ist jetzt ~ 1-3 Minuten, von denen die Hardware-Erkennung erfolgt die meiste Zeit. KDE User Sessions werden nun automatisch in das Verzeichnis / von USB-Speichergeräten (/ dev/sda1) restauriert.

Diese Version nutzt die Fedora Core 2 Pakete und ein 2.6-Kernel standardmäßig (2,4 ist als Fallback im Lieferumfang enthalten). Der X-Server wurde von XFree86 auf Xorg. Die meisten Fehler wurden behoben, darunter ein Problem mit der automatische Erstellung der Datei / etc / resolv.conf. Automatische X-Konfiguration ist noch etwas lückenhaft.

changed from XFree86 to Xorg. Most bugs were fixed,
including a problem with auto-creation of the /etc/resolv.conf
file. X auto-configuration is still a bit sketchy.

The system was switched to a loopback image. tmpfs support was added. Tools to find local Windows and Linux partitions were added. Many bugs in buildroot toolkit were fixed. /usr/share/doc and man-pages are now included. The RPM database is included. The CDROM will now boot from any IDE CD drive if there is more than one. Non-interactive hardware detection now works. The system now works fine in a machine with 64MB of RAM.
