mkxvcd.sh is a shell script that creates a VBR
KVCD MPEG1 stream that fits up to 2 hours of movie
data on an 80-minute CDR. It can use any file that
can be played by mplayer as input. It only
requires tools from the mplayer, transcode, and
mjpegtools packages.

There is an option to manualy adjust quant and bitrate settings, a preview option, and enviroment settings for nice level and multi-treading. Many bugs have been fixed.

Das komplette Skript neu schreiben der macht es steckbar, um zukünftige Erweiterungen leichter und fügt hinzu: "transcode" als Encoder-Option für DVD-Backup-Support.
This complete rewrite of the script makes it more plugable to make
future enhancements easier and adds "transcode" as an encoder option for
dvd-backup support.
