Sie können nun die "Driver Manager"-Funktion, um dynamisch neue JDBC-Treiber zu importieren. So können Sie (in der Theorie) an jede mögliche Datenbank, für die Sie einen JDBC-Treiber sind in Verbindung zu treten. Es hat sich erfolgreich gegen MySQL, Oracle 8, HSQLDB (Hypersonic) getestet, und PostgreSQL.

Major feature enhancements
This release adds generic database support. Until now, JAG could only
connect to databases that were explicitly supported (programatically).
You can now use the "Driver Manager" function to dynamically import new
JDBC drivers. This enables you (in theory) to connect to any database
for which you have a JDBC driver. It has been successfully tested
against MySQL, Oracle 8, HSQLDB (Hypersonic), and PostgreSQL.
Diese Version erlaubt es Anwendern nun, System-Design aus einem UML-Modell, von jedem XMI-Export-konforme Modellierungs-Tool-Import (Gemeinsam PoseidonUML, etc.).
