This script enables admins to check DNS zones for various problems.
It automatically extracts the list of zones from BIND DNS servers. This allows admins to minimize maintenance efforts: as zones are added and removed from the DNS server, the configuration does not need to be modified.
It can integrate with nagios.
Future plans include suppport for extracting zones from other DNS server types and integration with other monitoring tools such as big brother. You can download file releases of dns_zones_check project from List of release files
