Katoob is a light-weight, multi lingual, BIDI-aware text editor. It supports opening and saving files in multiple encodings. The main support was for the Arabic language but other languages are also supported.

Opening large files shouldn't be slow anymore. The
"find and replace" button was dropped from the
replace dialog. Syntax highlighting support was
added by using libgtksourceviewmm.
Importieren oder Exportieren von Text mit bidi und Gestaltung angewendet werden, nicht rückgängig machen. Die japanische Übersetzung wurde aktualisiert. Der Einstellungen-Dialog Abschnitte sind jetzt übersetzt.

Importing or exporting text with bidi and shaping applied won't reverse it. The Japanese translation has been updated. The preferences dialog sections are now translated.
Das Programm kann nun offen auf Remote-Dateien mit Hilfe eines externen Kommandos. Eine Option, die Dateien einzufügen wurde hinzugefügt. Einige kleine Verbesserungen und Aufräumarbeiten Code vorgenommen wurden.
